Important Note
Our “ear opener” earpieces exemplify the skills of our technicians to keep collapsing ear canals open. Sometimes the tissue of an aging or surgical ear canal becomes soft and flaccid, to the point of losing its definition and collapsing. When this happens, the canal can become occluded, causing a conductive hearing loss. This can be corrected by opening the ear canal using a stent made from acrylic material. Our “ear opener” earpieces are available in style numbers 2, 3, 3 Inverted, 4, 5, 6, 6 Thick, 8 and 8 thick.
